What Is a Bush Nursing Centre?
Bush Nursing Centres (BNC’s) are small health centres that provide rural and remote communities access to health and nursing services. The Lockington & District Bush Nursing Centre is one of 15 Bush Nursing Centre’s in Victoria. The Centre was opened in Lockington on the 6th December 1959, and services an area of approximately 1042 square kilometres.
