Services Available at the Centre

Daily Pathology Collections:
Monday to Friday 8.45am—11.45am

Nursing Services:
Our Nursing services include wound care, pathology collection, ECG’s, health promotion, nursing advice, first aid, blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring, post-acute care, hospital in the home, district nursing and emergency care.

Daily Script delivery:
Prescriptions can be emailed or faxed to Rochester Chemist then delivered to the centre the next morning. Script payments for Rochester Chemmart can be made at the centre. Inquire at the Centre if the script needs to be sent to an alternative pharmacy.

Maternal Child Health Nurse :
Maternal Child Health Nurse from the Shire of Campaspe attends the centre on a fortnightly basis.

Diabetic Educator:
Donna Robertson from Echuca Regional Health attends the centre every 3 months . She conducts Blood Sugar levels, and gives advice on diet, lifestyle and medication. Please phone the centre for an appointment.

Well Women’s Clinic:
Please phone the Centre to book an appointment for cervical screening, breast health awareness, information on menopause, sexual health, pregnancy testing and options.

Immunisation Clinic: Shire of Campaspe nurses attend the centre to conduct immunisation clinics. Bookings essential. The Shire can be contacted on 1300 666 535 or (03) 54812200. Currently, this service occurs on the 4th Monday of every second month 11.30-12noon. Please check centre notice boards or Community News for any changes to this service.

Flu Vaccine Clinic: The centre provides annual flu clinics days in April for all community members free of charge (a fee may apply for the vaccine if not in the eligibility criteria).

Assessments and referrals for Community Allied Health Service for:
Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy Assistance, Speech Pathology Continence Nurse, Podiatry and Dietician. Referrals for Radiology or other Health Professionals can be faxed.
